He tried multiple times to persuade the British to give them rights, but they still haven't changed anything. He even presented his ideas to the Crown, but they still ignored him. Everyone thought that there was o hope, until the Sierra Leone company noticed him, and decided to help him out. The Sierra Leone company wanted to help freed black slaves start a settlement in Sierra Leone, Africa.
