Hi. it is I. King Francis. Again. I am so pleased that the war is FINALLY over. I was getting worried. That war seemed to have gone on forever. Actually, only 7 years. That was around 1763. Even though the British defeated the New French, I would have been happy about New France winning. Just imagine! Another France! Even more people speaking french! And even MORE people to give money to us!!! But the people in Britain soon realized that the people of Quebec would not become British like them. So now the French has a new land that remains like France. Yay!!! More French speakers! In The same year as the war ended, the British made an official proclamation of the First Nations' rights to the land, to let them live there in peace. I just hope that the First Nations and the New French don't cause any more trouble...

Dear King Francis,
ReplyDeleteSeven Years is a long time to be mad at people you really shouldn't be. Britain could've owned any other part of the world. Did Britain need to absolutely HAVE New France?
Sincerely, Rebecca Nokatomi
Dear King Francis,
ReplyDeleteFrench is a cool language to speak, but did there have to be a whole war? I mean maybe British people could move to New France and learn the language themselves. That would've been EVEN MORE French speakers, plus Britain could have another place, so both countries would be happy.
Sincerely, Rebecca Nokatomi
The only reason that we let you have your share of land is because the people that live in North Amrica are very difficult to deal with.

Good Morning/Evening King Francis,
ReplyDeleteKing George III has written a letter to you:
Hello King Francis,
I hope all is doing well in France.
I am sorry about the worry of the war, it was just that my people weren't happy with yours.
But I need advice, my dear Francis, how do you control these people? Especially the French. They stubbornness is bothering me. I simply ask them to learn the language of Britain, so I can understand what their trying to say, but they ignored my wishes.
And even when I issued a royal proclamation, I thought it would prevent more problems from happening, but they still create more problems
But I am afraid that this is my problem, and you have your own, so I will try not to waste your time.
Wish me luck,
King George III
I am very offended. I live in North America yet when have I been difficult to deal with? Exactly! If anyone is difficult it is those despicable 13 Colonies. Or perhaps you have not heard of these people yet... well, you better watch out!
ReplyDeleteAnd you better not cry...
DeleteI LIKE FRANCE!!! They make good croissants!! Do you like croissants??
