Peter, my servant, has started telling people that he saw my ghost, and he's getting all this publicity and stuff, and I don't want to give him all that pride, so I have to go into hiding for a bit. I'll be telling my pal, Charles, to be posting here often, but he's kind of a *****, so I don't think you'll be hearing stuff on this blog for a while.

Hi. It is I. King Francis. Still Dead. And, I've given up on the gangsta thing. Really, just not working out too well. The war of 1812 still rages on, with that dumb William Hull guy pretending that he cares about people. At least now, there's a Canadian guy who's trying to help. Before, he was trying to battle Napoleon, but when the Americans attacked, he figured that this was a pretty good chance to prove himself, or whatever. I just hope that this guy, Isaac Brock, doesn't cause any extra problems, because that's the last thing we need right now.-

The Americans Declared war on the Canadians! They sent out 2000 men into battle! Just because the First Nations wanted to keep their land!!! Their LAND!!!!!!!


Yeah. I know. I found out, like, a week ago.

I don't know! Some random guy I met in Canada!

Okay. Well now that HE'S gone, I can finally talk to my many, loving fans. Now, what was it that I wanted to say again.......

Hi. It is I. King Francis. The deceased. Like, dead, in case you were wondering. Not anything else, because I knew this guy that thought that 'deceased' meant, like, something random. Anyway, remember last time how I told you about this guy who invaded Canada with, like, 2000 men? Well now, he's sending out a proclamation to stop people from fighting back! I mean, it's not like anybody was really going to fight back against all those guys, but... still! He even made the proclamation sound like he was trying to HELP the Canadians! Plus, he's making it sound like the First Nations are the bad guys, just for wanting to keep their land!!!  

Hi. It is I. Dead King Francis. Well, just as I expected, America declared war on Britain. I bet it was those #@%$ War Hawks' fault. The last thing we needed around here is another war! Anyway, I guess their president, James Madison, got influenced by them, or something. And just recently, on July 12th, 1812, This guy from the USA invaded Canada with 2000 men, all from the Northwest Navy. Well, jeez, I hope no one gets hurt...

Hi. It is I. King Francis. Dead. Again. So, again with the British. Now they're still as hostile as ever with the Americans, and trying to get the First Nations people to keep all of their territory, so America won't expand too much. At least this is one of their best ideas yet, because it's helping out someone other then them. The First Nations, I mean. Wow, these british guys are bad news. I can sense a war coming on.

Hi. It is I. King Francis, still dead, and having a great time observing the British and Americans. More hostile than ever. Now, since Britain is attacking France, they are preventing them from recieving imports and therefore, making the Americans lose a major market. Of course the Americans know that it's actually Britrain's fault. I mean, no one would just tell someone to stop selling them goods. I mean, come ON! Can't they just...be friends? Or something? Anyway, I think it was supposed to bring down Nepoleon, but I don't think it's working. I can't wait to see what dumb battle plan the British come up with next.

Hi. It is I. Dead King Francis. Well, now that the Treaty of Paris has been signed, the American Revolution is over. But still, I think Britain and the USA are a little bit hostile to each other. Mostly, it's Britain's fault, from what I've seen recently. For example, the British are trying really hard to prevent people from deserting them, so the British are even stopping American ships, and checking them for British deserters, which I'm guessing is really ticking the Americans off. Plus, the British are forcing some of the American sailors into the British navy! I mean, seriously? How irrational can you get?

Hi. It is I. King Francis, as dead as ever. This Thayendanega seems to be kind of... different. First of all, since he was still loyal to Britain in the American Revolution, now he's heading into Haudenosaunee territory to make a treaty with the rebels there. Luckily they agreed, otherwise they would have fed him to the wolves, or peeled his skin off, or something. Phew. I guess that was better for all of them, because the Haudenosaunee were able to stay out of the American Revolution, which made them decide to help Britain. Once they found out from Thayendanega that the British would probably give the First Nations more rights, they agreed. I don't know about that, though. The British sometimes haven't kept their promises in the past...

Hi. It is I. King Francis. Dead, as usual. Actually, I like being dead more than being alive, because I can basically go wherever I want and eves drop on other people and stuff. Plus, I don't have to worry about getting hurt or dying again. Yeah... not really an event I'd like to repeat. Anyway, now I've been monitoring this guy named Thaiagenda, or something. What is it again? Wait... I think it's Thayendanega. Yeah. Yeah, that's it. Any way, Thay was born in 1972 and he basically joined the British army in the eleven years' war. Surprisingly, even in the American Revolution began, he remained their ally. I found it kind of weird, though, because he was even born in an area that was American.

Hi. It is I. King Francis. Still dead. However, I've been moving around a lot lately. I have notice that the Black loyalists that had moved to Sierra Leone are still struggling with getting used to Africa. The weather conditions are fairly poor there in Freetown, but they are still progressing more then the people that stayed behind in Nova Scotia. Judging by the way things are going for them, they probably won't get their rights to the land for a few more decades. Still, I hope they can survive until then...

Hi. It is I. King Francis. Still dead. Also, still in Canada. I have continued to observe Thomas Peters, as he keeps trying to give the new Black loyalists more rights to the land, but he hasn't actually had much luck. He tried multiple times to persuade the British to give them rights, but they still haven't changed anything. He even presented his ideas to the Crown, but they still ignored him. Everyone thought that there was o hope, until the Sierra Leone company noticed him, and decided to help him out. The Sierra Leone company wanted to help freed black slaves start a settlement in Sierra Leone, Africa. In 1792, Thomas eventually convinced 1100 Black people to go to Sierra Leone, but they still had a few problems with the Natives, land permits, etc. Eee Tee Cee. Et Cetera.

Hi. It is I. Dead King Francis. Still in Canada, watching how things are going in Nova Scotia. Remember how I previously told you about the unfairness to Black Loyalists in Canada? Well, it seems as if someone is finally trying to protest against this inhumanity! This guy...Tommy Peters or something...is trying to give the Black Loyalists more rights. Eventually, the Black loyalists were given the choice of staying on their half-hectare of land, or join the army. Still...that's not so good...but we're getting somewhere, right?

Hi. It is I. King Francis. Still not in France. Since I died, I've had a whole new view on life. When I was still king, I didn't really think about what my decisions affected, but now that I can see all that is going on, I realize that maybe I should have been more careful about my decisions. Thanks to someone's poor decision making, the Black Loyalists that came to Nova Scotia are barely surviving, the government only giving then about half a hectare of land, whereas other loyalists receive hundreds of hectares of land.

Hi. It is I. King Francis. I’m still dead, so… yeah. There is a lot of stuff going on about slavery and freeing the black slaves from America. It sounds like thousands of black people will be coning to Nova Scotia if the anti-slavery law gets passed. Already some Black people have come to the new settlements in Canada. Of course, there are still problems there with racism and some people in Canada still treat the blacks like slaves. I completely disagree. Treating black people unfairly is completely inappropriate. At least most of the time everybody has peace. Let's hope the British don't start a war over something like this. Black people and White people can live in peace! Let's hope the British feel the same way.

Hi. It is I. King Francis. Now, I know that it’s now the 1800s and I’ve been dead for hundreds of years, but that doesn’t really matter considering that this is an internet blog hundreds of years after that. Still, I’m glad to see how the world has developed over the years. Lots of people have immigrated to Canada and are now building more settlements. Lots of the people who moved had to get a land grant, clear the land, build homes and grow crops from scratch, with little help from the British. I wish I could still be the King of France, so that I could send people to help them…

Hi. It is I. King Francis. I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Sadly, the British people captured me, but one they did, they basically just tried me to a lawn chair, put it in a tree, and left me unguarded. I saw these random guys that looked French coming to save me, but one guy tripped fell on everybody else, so you can imagine how that went. Eventually they just decided that it would be best to leave, because they obviously didn't see me, because the lawn chair was, again, in a tree. I saw them walking away and when I tried calling to them, they didn't hear me. As they walked away, I heard a girl scream, and then a bear growl, and thay someone saying, 'AAAAAAAAAAAAh!!! MY ARM!!!!!'  It was a very dramatic experience. At least I found out that the British aren't very good knot tiers, so I moved a bit, and it came undone. Then I had to use the rope to shinny down the tree, which gave me some pretty bad rope burns.
Even typing out this paragraph is painful...

Hi. It's me. Not king Francis, but his son! Henry! I heard rumours about my dad getting captured by the Spanish or British or something... anyway, I think he had some stuff going on with the British. It's probably them, after the war and everything. I don't get it... we had a treaty, right? I think some people went off to save him, but we only got 2 or 3 to go, so that didn't go so well. They came back and one of the recruits named Bernie or something came back missing an arm. I don't really remember his name... maybe Bennie? So, I think we have to recruit more people this time. Bernard/Bernie/Bennie can come again if he wants to, but in his injured state, I don't know if it's the best idea...
     Anyway, just help out, okay? Again, the fate of new France is upon us!!! Unless we get more people to help out...

Hi. It is I. King Francis.  Here in France, as usual. Still lots of activity going on with Britain and the First Nations people. They are trying to come to some sort of agreement on use of the land and if Britain would pay them or not...
    The British are still fairly hostile. Even though we proposed the treaty. I keep on thinking that something is going to happen...like someone is going to be kidnapped by the british or something...

Hi. It is I. King  Francis. Here, in France. There has been a lot of talk about the treaty between France and Britain lately. This Royal Proclaimation thing is way too much to spend my time thinking about. I guess it was to organize all of the new territory that Britain has control over. I'm happy that the war's over, but we could have beat the British SO easily. They were so weak from all of the money they had used during the war, that we had the greatest power. But of course, us being the nice guys, gave them a chance for the peace treaty. Now we have peace, but we aren't the bets of friends...

Hi again! It is I! Again! There has been a lot of talk in France lately..... something about 14 colonies separating from Britain? Or was it 15? And now, the colonies are calling themselves the 'United States'.
Not quite as catchy as 'France'.....
     Now even the British are having troubles with the 14 colonies and Quebec. They are having especially hard times with the war as well, but France is doing a bit better off than them, at least.

Hi. it is I. King Francis. Again. I am so pleased that the war is FINALLY over. I was getting worried. That war seemed to have gone on forever. Actually, only 7 years. That was around 1763. Even though the British defeated the New French, I would have been happy about New France winning. Just imagine! Another France! Even more people speaking french! And even MORE people to give money to us!!! But the people in Britain soon realized that the people of Quebec would not become British like them. So now the French has a new land that remains like France. Yay!!! More French speakers! In The same year as the war ended, the British made an official proclamation of the First Nations' rights to the land, to let them live there in peace. I just hope that the First Nations and the New French don't cause any more trouble...
